Writing Again and Hitting the Road Again

Pandemic or not, we’ve been in our own form of isolation for about four months with the sole focus being construction documents for the City of Sarasota’s Bobby Jones Golf Club.  The scope includes the restoration of an eighteen-hole Donald Ross course, a new practice facility, and a nine-hole adjustable course.  Going back and forth with the engineers on drainage and earthwork is an interesting aspect of the design process that most people dismiss but is crucial to making things work in the field – before you get there.  So the time taken to value engineer is well worth it.
